When should I apply?
Most pilot hiring in the Canadian North occurs in the spring (march - may).
Does Buffalo Airways hire based on resumes alone?
Not usually, but it is possible if candidates have experience on the aircraft types we operate.
What would give me the best chance of being hired with Buffalo Airways as a low-time candidate?
Most successful candidates head north and keep knocking on doors while working unrelated jobs in the city. Local carriers will usually hire from the local 'pool' of low-time pilots before offering positions over the phone.
How does a low-time pilot start out with Buffalo?
Most of our pilots started out with our courier service sorting and delivering packages working their way to co-pilot on the DC-3.
